As part of our small, friendly team, you will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by highly skilled and experienced Fixing Carpenters.
We are on the lookout for a positive, motivated and reliable person who wants to build a career as a Fixing Carpenter. Once qualified, your experience with us will set you up to be in high demand!
The diverse work you will be trained in includes:
- Cutting and fixing skirting, architraves, shelving, eaves, cedar lining etc.
- Scribing and mitringÌý
- Hanging and adjusting doors, installing cavity sliders, window reveals etc.
- Installing fixtures and door furniture (including in luxury homes)
- Complexing of transportable homes
- and much more!
Skills & Qualities needed:
- Ability to undertake manual/physical workÌý
- High attention to detail
- A willingness to learn
- Ability to contribute to a team environment
- Aptitude for Maths and Measurement
- Attainment of white card
- Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle (preferred)
