At Avocado Electrical, we deliver premium, compliant and innovative electrical solutions for construction projects, specialising in Schools & Educational Facilities, Childcare Centres and Mixed-Use Developments. We are seeking motivated and committed 1st to 4th year electrical apprentices to join our growing team. As an electrical apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills necessary to become a qualified electrician.ÌýThis is a full-time position with the potential for ongoing employment upon completion of your apprenticeship.
What You'll Be Doing:

Assisting qualified electricians with the wiring and installation of electrical systems in commercial, industrial and residential sectors

Learning to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics

Maintaining high safety standards on-site and gaining experience in the proper use of electrical tools and equipment

Completing on-the-job training and attending vocational education classes to obtain your electrical certification

Participating in team-based projects and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and drive innovation
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine interest in electrical industry and a strong willingness to learn

For 1st year apprentice, have completedÌýa Cert II in Electrotechnology Pre-Apprenticeship (preferred) and have basic knowledge of hand tools and electrical equipment

For 2nd to 4th year apprentice, have enrolled in a recognised electrical apprenticeship programÌýand proven experience in construction projects

Good problem-solving and analytical skills withÌýhigh mathematical aptitude

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work safely and effectively

Reliable, punctual, hard-working and able to work well in a team environment

Physically fit and capableÌýto work on active construction sites
