We are looking for a newÌýApprentice ElectricianÌýto join our busy Solar Installation team.
We are open to recent school leavers who are eager to start their career in this exciting and busy trade as 1st Year Electrical Apprentice. 1st Year Apprentices with Solar experience who are looking for a fresh start are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Solar Panel Installation, working in both domestic and commercial properties. We usually start our job from 7am and it takes roughly 8 hours per day. We work all days except in a crazy weather. The job site is different every day, but we mainly work acrossÌýMelbourne’s Western suburbs. You will learn valuable skills in this job. All safety equipment provided!
Tasks & Duties will include:
- Setting up the worksite in accordance with all OH&S guidelines
- Installation of all aspect of all Solar PanelsÌý
- Wiring inside the ceilingÌý
- Running the conduit inside the ceilingÌý
The successful candidate must possess:
- White card
- Driver’s Licence
- Strong work ethic
- 1st Year Apprentices with pre-apprenticeship (highly desirable although relevant experience considered)Ìý
Individuals who have completed a relevant pre-apprenticeship OR those who possess relevant skills/work experience in the industry are encouraged to apply.
