What will you learn as a trainee?
A traineeship in Warehousing and Logistics will give you exposure to the different skills that can be applied to a career pathway in the supply chain sector. Working with qualified warehousing and logistics workers, you will also learn how to:
- Catalogue, record and label items with storage details
- Create accurate data entry into stock management programs, for items such as received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices
- Drive a forklift to move heavy items around the warehouse
It generally takes two years to become a qualified Warehouse and Logistics Worker but since the traineeship is based on competency, it can be completed earlier if you have achieved the required skills.

When undertaking a Warehousing and Logistics Worker traineeship you will study a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations over two years.
You might want to gain further qualifications in your chosen field, or even undertake another trade.

Career Pathway
During your traineeship with 91¹ÙÍøyou will work towards attaining the Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations, upon completion of which you will be qualified to work as a Supply Chain Operator or Warehouse Operator.
There are options to upskill with further study, which will enable you to pursue a variety of more advanced occupations within the trade once you obtain the necessary qualifications for a specific role;
