Our client has been keeping businesses cool for over 22 years, servicing food wholesalers, retailers, and manufacturers, bars, cafes, restaurants and hotels. With a team of experts in refrigeration, they design and install bespoke refrigeration systems to meet business needs, and preventative maintenance plans.
91¹ÙÍø the role:
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Perform basic electrical work, such as wiring, testing, and replacing components related to air conditioning systems.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure all work is completed safely and effectively.
What we're looking for:
- Electrical Knowledge: At least two years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and component replacement in air conditioning systems.
- Mechanical Proficiency: Strong experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration units.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics, with practical application experience.
- Troubleshooting Expertise: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
- Preventative Maintenance: Experience performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the efficient operation of air conditioning units.
