We're now hiring a 1st or 2nd Year Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to join our friendly team at Milperra.
Get ready to dive into a mix of cutting-edge tech and vintage machines, where every day brings fresh challenges and a solid grounding in the basics. You'll get hands-on with everything from programming and running lathe machines to tackling parts and materials like a pro. Your skills will shine as you master milling, grinding, and layout work for machining parts, plus you'll level up with MIG, TIG, and arc welding. Best of all, you'll be side-by-side with seasoned tradies, soaking up their hard-earned industry know-how!
Here are a few things you can expect from this apprenticeship opportunity:
- On-the-job training: You'll be learning by doing! You'll be part of a team that will provide hands-on training as you learn in the fabrication and running/programming of equipment.

- Have a C class drivers' licence (provisional licences are accepted).
- Hold a current White Card.
- Are enthusiastic, motivated and have a willingness to learn.
