We are currently looking for an Engineering Apprentice (Metal Fabrication) to join the team.Ìý
Working with qualified and skilledÌýengineersÌýyou will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support. Ìý
Duties will involve: Ìý
- Performing engineering measurementsÌý
- Apply welding principlesÌý
- Use workshop machines for basic operationsÌý
- Carry out mechanical cuttingÌý
- ​Apply principles of occupational health and safety in the work environmentÌý
The successful candidate will:ÌýÌý
- Be a confident communicatorÌý
- Be able to undertake manual/physical workÌý
- Motivated with a genuine interest in theÌýfabricationÌýindustryÌý
- Be trustworthy and reliableÌý
- ​Have a high level of attention to detailÌý
Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursuing fabrication as a career path, be motivated and willing to work hard to get trade qualified.Ìý
The successful candidate will undergoÌýCertificate III in Engineering. Ìý
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
