A rare opportunity has arison with award winning small residential construction business based in Yarra Valley, Victoria for aÌý1st year Caprentry Apprentice.
We are looking for an apprentice who is genuinely interested in the construction industry and happy to learn all aspects of a construction process. You will be working with two very experienced and registered builders to be their right hand person and be the sponge to soak up all the knowledge.Ìý
Majority of our work is based around Yarra Valley and surrounds, with some of our work spread out across metropolitan, South & Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.Ìý
Our ideal candidate is all about attitude and below attributes:
- Someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, enjoys a hard day's work.
- A person of integrity, who is honest and takes ownership of their actions, not just for an awesome job, but for mistakes as well.Ìý
- An eager learner, who is genuinely interested in all aspects of the construction industry. While your apprenticeship and schooling is to become a qualified carpenter, our business will offer you to become jack of all trades.Ìý
- Commitment to complete a 4-year apprenticeship, and drive to be successful.Ìý
- A person with initiative and understands the needs of their peers and genuinely enjoys teamwork.
Preferred but not essential:Ìý
- Current driver's licence - if you don't have a driver's licence, you must have your own transport to get to work each day.Ìý
- A valid white card.
- Completed a pre-apprenticeship preferred
To be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.Ìý
