Hammerhead Construction has an opportunity for 2-3 apprentice carpenters to join the current 5 man team.
We specialise in all aspects of carpentry (frame, lock up, fix/fit off, custom designs, decks/ pergolas) but in particular are experts at renovations and extensions. We pride ourselves on our ability to meet deadlines set by builders and clients whilst ensuring the highest quality of finish is maintained.
Excellent opportunity for new apprentices to be mentored and trained by expert carpenters in a wide variety of carpentry services.
We are currently working on 3 custom extensions and 1 new build. We have 4 extensions starting in January next year with 2 new high end renovations starting early next year as well.
To be successful you will need to have the following:Ìý
- Ability to undertake physically demanding workÌý
- Be reliable and punctualÌý
- Eager to learn
- Have a basic knowledge of hand toolsÌý
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentryÌý
- Ability to get to and from work independentlyÌý
Preferred but not essential:Ìý
- Driver licence & Own carÌý
- A white cardÌý
- Completed a pre-apprenticeshipÌý
- Own toolsÌý
