Are you passionate about horticulture and looking to kickstart your career? The Seymour Racing Club is offering an exciting apprenticeship in Turf Management, ideal for a motivated and dependable individual ready to grow with us.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in turf management and facility maintenance, while also completing formal training through TAFE to earn a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (AHC-31319). If your goal is to become involved in the turf and horticultural industry, then this is the perfect stepping stone for you!
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong ability to work independently, with enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Ability to drive and operate machinery required for racecourse maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with general building and facility maintenance.
- Genuine interest in Turf Management and Horticulture.
- Physically fit and enjoys working outdoors.
- Excellent communication skills, well-organised, and committed to OH&S principles.
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred).
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
