Nudo is a wedding and events company, and we run over 400 events per year across 7 venues. Our Chefs primarily work out of our venue, The Ivory throughout the week to prep food, and then execute events off-site at one of our other venues on the weekends. We have a range of menu offerings, including 7 current menus offered to clients and new menu developed each season - keeping it fresh and on trend!

This role is full-time, at 38 hours per week working across a 7-day rotating roster, which includes classroom time as per their studies. We are open to first, second or third year apprentices joining our team. We pay our team in line with the Restaurant Industry Award and include all penalties and late night payments.

The Apprentice Chef will work in our production kitchen throughout the week and hep prepare food for events occuring during the week and weekend. The tasks during the week will range from prepping, cooking, portioning, cleaning & stocktake and supporting other chefs. The Apprentice would also be expected to work at events on week nights and weekends to see the delivery of service and support the team to execute events.

The Apprentice Chef will have dedicated learning and support from all other permanent kitchen team members and will be included in exciting changes such as new menu design and tastings.
