Kestrel, an architectural home-building company, has an opportunity for an apprentice carpenter to join the team.Ìý
We specialise in all aspects of carpentry, from formwork, framing, lock up and fixing to external cladding and decking.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy crew and learn from qualified, reputable, skilled builders and carpentersÌýin a supportive environment. We work mainly in the Inner westÌýand Eastern Suburbs and North Sydney.
This role is also open to mature applicants over 21 years old and School leavers.
To be successful, you will need to have the following:Ìý
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Be reliable and punctual
- A positive and respectful attitude
- Very keen to learnÌý
- Have a basic knowledge of hand toolsÌý
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in building & carpentryÌý
- Coordinated and disciplined
- Must live within 10 km of Sydney’s Inner West.
Preferred but not essential:Ìý
- A white card (can be obtained easily in one day course)
- Own transport and driver's licence P or Full
- Experience with hand and power tools
