This role is tailored for individuals eager to develop practical skills in mechanical fitting and gain hands-on experience with a high-tech manufacturer. You'll be guided by experienced professionals, fostering your growth and expertise in a supportive environment.
Duties will involve:
- Troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on automation, robotics, injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
- Operate workshop machines.
- Working on capital installations and various engineering projects.
- Having a strong focus on safety and product quality.
- Adhere to safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Comply with food safety and quality management systems, procedures, and policies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement for product quality and efficiency.
The successful candidate will have:
- Desire to learn and possess a can-do attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for engineering and a willingness to learn
- Team orientated and excellent work ethic
- Ability to learn new systems and procedures
- Computer Literacy - basic MS Office
- Australian Citizenship
