91¹ÙÍø the Role

The day to day element of the role is to provide mechanical services to deliver light, medium and heavy grade repairs and maintenance, primarily to the Sydney basedÌýfleets. Specifically, this is about ensuring fleet availability through planned and unplanned maintenance. The successful candidate will need to develop an understanding of how systems and sub systems of the vehicle function and interact. The role will require you to have the technical ability and experience to achieve this. It requires the willingness to work with individuals from different aspects of the business, including engineers, technicians, and supply chain coordinators.Ìý

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

  • Conduct fit out and maintenance tasks on Supacat vehicles
  • Provide mechanical services to deliver light, medium and heavy grade repairs
  • Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
  • Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systemsÌý
  • Be responsible for ensuring compliant safety practices at all times
  • Provide advice and support to engineering and production staffÌý
  • Support local trialsÌý
  • Deliver work on agreed scheduleÌý
  • Ensure that compliant safety practices are always used and that a safety culture is embedded within the team

Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and must have the right to work in Australia.
