D J Buckley Builders Pty Ltd are looking to employ a full time apprentice carpenter to start late 2024 or early 2025.ÌýÌý
D J Buckley Builders is a family owned and run construction company which employsÌý up to 10 -12 carpenters/apprentices, which focussesÌýon small to medium commercial construction and high end residential construction consisting of new homes, extensions and renovations.Ìý Whilst D J Buckley Builders is a Toowoomba based company we expand our services throughout Western and South East Qld, and Northern NSW.
To be successful you will need to have the following:Ìý
- Ability to undertake physically demanding workÌý
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environmentÌý
- A great work ethic
- An understandingÌýof the process of progression through apprenticeship years
- The ability to travel out of town for work on a weekly basis and live and work with the team over the course of the project
- A minimum of a provisional licence and be able to provide their own travel to work
- Be reliable and punctualÌý
- Very keen to learnÌý
- Have a basic knowledge of hand toolsÌý
- Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in carpentryÌý
